Kannawidan: Celebrating Culture and Community at the Ilocos Sur Festival




 On February 2, 2024, Vigan City in the province of Ilocos Sur held the energetic Ilocos Sur Festival, also referred to as Kannawidan. This scenic affair, firmly embedded in the cultural fabric of the region, included a magnificent parade that mesmerized onlookers with its vivid hues, rhythmic melodies, and palpable community unity.
